All the headlines are on Microsoft’s plan to take on Apple’s iPod. It won’t be called Zune apparently but that’s the name for the moment.
Hot Mobile News
Radio Mirchi ( a private FM radio station) is bringing the technology to the country. It will be available to Hutch and Airtel subscribers who have compatible handsets.
This is clearly a major initiative with huge revenues attached to it. It raised the question in my mind as to whether this would be seen as an addition to the Mobile world. Clearly the current Apple Ipod isn’t. Nor is the Microsoft XBox. But it seems that Zune will be able to download entertainment in a wireless environment.
What defines a Mobile device? If it is truly a Mobile device, the world suddenly got a whole lot bigger.

Actually we’re all sure it will be called Zune. I think some models will have different names much like the nano to ipod but the Zune name covers the brand the software and the hardware
