I have heard nothing but good reports on hostgator and am about to put some sites up there because the good reports have come with some authorit. eg major players who have need of reliable bandwidth and cpu share, which seems to be the other factor that matters.

There is a link in the post that brings you to the hosting services. However the direct link to the company itself is http://www.hostgator.com/ as you might expect.
I once used hostgator too. Then I migrated to servage. They’re far better.
I use Hostgator for some sites. But I also use other hosts that provide additional services and more timely tech support. So it really depends on your needs. But you don’t need to disclose your affiliate link. If you believe in a product or service there is no reason why you shouldn’t recommend it.

I`ve been using Hostgator for over a year now with 6 of my websites and i got no complaints about them. The support is fast and very helpful.
However i also use another web host that has the codecs required for my youtube clone website.
I think you made a great decission by chosing Hostgator as your web host.
I have used hostgator nearly 4 years, i think it is best of my use.
We use several hosting services for our different clients and will definitely check HostGator out! Especially since there are so many positive comments about them.

I am wondering if Hostgator is a good hosting company. I am from Belgium and since 2 months I have created a english (US) website and I hosted it at GoDaddy. Not because they are the best, but because they are market leader. I didn’t know there were other good players. GoDaddy is not as good as it looks, so maybe in future I will step over on Hostgator.
I have heard others who have some reservations about GoDaddy. I’m still extremely happy with Hostgator.

I am not a big fan of hostgator, but if you guys really want to find a good host. Bluehost is great…I have them (and I am affiliate but I don’t want to spam this comment section) and have had nothing but good experiences. Their tech support is 2nd to none.
